This Business and Administration level 2 qualifications are
targeted at staff members who are involved in administration tasks
within the work place. Ideal candidates would be membership
administrators, personal administrators, office based staff.
Candidates will need to demonstrate competence in areas such as;
working and improving performance within a business environment,
problem solving and working with office equipment.
Upon completion of the Business and
Administration programme you will have proven your technical
knowledge and shown performance related evidence that you are
competent to complete administrative tasks to the National
standard.

Framework structure
Learners will need to achieve the following
four NVQ mandatory units:
- 201 Manage own performance in a business environment
- 202 Improve own performance in a business environment
- 203 Work in a business environment
- 204 Communicate in a business environment
And complete the following four NVQ optional
units:
- 205 Solve business problems
- 206 Work with other people in a business environment
- 219 Store and retrieve information
- 221 Use office equipment
Funded learners will also complete the
following:
- Key Skill Application of Number Level 1
- Key Skill Communication Level 1
- Key Skill Information and Communication Technology Level 1
- Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and
Administration
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
Programme Length
Apprenticeships typically take between 6-18 months to
complete.
