Candidates working with babies will need to complete
four optional units:

Candidates working with children with disabilities and
special educational needs will need to complete the following four

Childminding candidates will need to meet the following
four optional units:

service

Candidates working as a nursery nurse and at out of
school clubs will need to complete the following five optional
units:

- 094 Support children and young people to have positive
relationships
Funded candidates will also need to complete the
following:
- Key Skill Application of Number Level 2

- Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Workbook
- Certificate in Paediatric First Aid
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
Programme Length
Apprenticeships typically take between 6-18 months to
complete.
