Academy gives young people like you the chance to learn new skills,
meet like-minded friends and get ready for a job working with
children.
So, if you are between 16 and 18 years of age, not currently in education or full-time employment and want a hands on, practical style of learning with a team of people set up to help find you a job working with children the Academy may be the answer.
After attending 10 days at the Lifetime Early Years Care Academy you will learn about:
Working in an early years setting
Nutrition for children
Learning through play
Paediatric first aid
Sign language
...and much more
During and after the Academy our aim is to help you find a job and work with your employer to support you through an Apprenticeship. We will give you all the skills to create a great CV and be confident at interview.
We have Academies across the country running every month so you can book on a course near you and we'll help you with money towards your travel fare.
