How to get there?
The leisure centre is ideally located between Prince Consort Road and Alexandra Road next to Gateshead Central Library. It is only a short walk from Gateshead town centre.
Car Park
There is limited onsite car parking, this includes marked disabled bays.
Cycle
There is a designated area for cyclist to secure their bikes.
Bus
Regular buses operated by ‘Go North East’ stop at various points around the Central Library. Current routes, timetables and journey planners may be found at:

Several buses stop on Prince Consort Road or Shipcote Lane, just outside or opposite the leisure centre:
51, 52, 77 and 87
Coatsworth Road is less than five minutes walk from the leisure centre. Two buses operate on a circular route: 53 and 54
Metro
Gateshead Interchange which includes the Metro Station is 15 to 20 minutes walk away from the leisure centre. Please see bus information above, for information on bus times from the Interchange to the leisure centre.
