course qualifies you to work with patients referred by medical
practitioners. Those keen to pursue such a route will be given an
excellent insight into exercise referral process as well as various
diseases and their implications for exercise.This five-day course will show you how to plan and deliver safe and effective exercise programmes for your referred patients and deals with the following illnesses:
- hypertension and hypercholesterolemia
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma
- diabetes and obesity
- osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
- osteoporosis
- back pain

You will need to prove
you have gained a REPs Level 3 personal trainer qualification
within the last five years. If your qualification is older than
five years you will need to prove you have maintained REPS register
status during the entire period.Course duration and delivery

The course is taught as a combination of distance learning and a five day attendance module. The self-study pack should be completed before the module to help with your understanding during the course.
