Course duration and delivery
The course is broken down into three modules, each lasting three months.
Module one - Biomechanics Coach™ - practical and theory (4 days in the classroom and gym) plus home/online study
Module two - Advanced Biomechanics Coach™ - practical and theory (4 days in the classroom and gym) plus home/online study
Module three - Specialist Biomechanics Coach™ - practical and theory (4 days in the classroom and gym) plus home/online studyWhat will you learn?
Module one:
- Demonstrate pelvic mobility, nerve mobility, muscle spasm and spinal mobility screens
- Demonstrate the ability to assess core function
- Demonstrate how to structure an individual core conditioning programme
- Demonstrate how to biomechanically assess the shoulder girdle and the Gleno-Humeral joint
- Demonstrate the ability to create an individualised exercise programme based on an individuals screening results and previous biomechanical history
- Demonstrate excellent coaching skills to enable your client/patient to understand your findings
Module two:
- Demonstrate the ability to create an individualised exercise programme based on an individuals screening results and previous biomechanical history
- Demonstrate excellent coaching skills to enable your client/patient to understand your findings
- Demonstrate how to biomechanically assess the knee, foot and ankle joint
Module three:
- Demonstrate the ability to create an individualised exercise programme based on an individuals screening results and previous biomechanical history
- Demonstrate excellent coaching skills to enable your client/patient to understand your findings
Level and
pre-requisitesYou need to be level 3 qualified
To achieve the REPs level 4 back pain qualification you will also need to have completed Exercise ReferralEach of the modules are available to be purchased separately.
