    This five-day course will show you how to plan and deliver safe and effective exercise programmes for your referred patients and deals with the following illnesses:

    • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma
    • diabetes and obesity
    • osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
    • osteoporosis
    • back pain
    • mental health

    You will also be able to understand and explain the benefits of their new fitness regime

    Level and pre-requisites

    REPs Level 3You will need to prove you have gained a REPs Level 3 personal trainer qualification within the last five years. If your qualification is older than five years you will need to prove you have maintained REPS register status during the entire period.

     

    Course duration and delivery

    You could expect to complete this qualification in 4-8 weeks

    The course is taught as a combination of distance learning and a five day attendance module. The self-study pack should be completed before the module to help with your understanding during the course.
