Lifetime Training was established in 1995 and has grown to become one of the largest training providers in the UK. Our team of more than 1,200 support the delivery of award-winning apprenticeships and training courses to 20,000 learners a year across the UK.

Lifetime was founded to support individuals and businesses improve and grow through outstanding training programmes. This principle remains core to our business, which puts the experience of the learner and employer at the heart of everything we do.

We work with every size of employer across a wide range of sectors, offering services including apprentice recruitment, apprenticeship programmes, and self-funded training courses. Our award-winning programmes are industry-leading and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of our corporate clients.

Quality is central to our business ethos and we work hard to achieve great results for both learners and employers. Ofsted rated grade 2 ‘Good’ for the past five inspections, Lifetime hold an array of awards and accreditations as a mark of quality.

The Lifetime Training story

Lifetime was created as a training and consultancy business in 1995 by truly inspirational founder Heather Frankham. Lifetime soon developed strong partnerships with both large and small employers to establish itself as the leading training provider in the Active Leisure sector.

Lifetime began delivering apprenticeships in 2001 and has since expanded its delivery across a range of sectors. We now deliver intermediate, advanced, and higher apprenticeships across Hospitality, Retail, Fitness and Active Leisure, Business and Management, Health and Social Care, and Childcare and Teaching.

In 2011 Lifetime benefited from investment through Sovereign Capital. Alex Khan was appointed as CEO to lead the next phase of Lifetime Training’s diversification and growth journey. Since then, Lifetime has won several major clients to secure a dominant position in the provision of apprenticeships and self-funded training.

In 2016, Silverfleet Capital became Lifetime’s new investment partner to continue building on its reputation for quality and professionalism as a market leader in apprenticeships and commercial training.

To date, our award-winning training programmes have developed the careers of thousands of individuals across our sectors. We work with employers of all sizes to achieve tangible business improvements through training programmes, including upskilling the workforce or improving retention rates.
