Your Learner Journey
- Nominees will be sent a link to complete their initial assessments and diagnostics which needs to be completed as this gauges their current working level and identifies which level functional skills they need to complete.
- Based on the initial assessments, the Functional Skill Tutor will then plan the full learning pathway and book the candidate onto the relevant virtual classroom sessions and modules, as well as scheduling review points.
- At on-boarding the Functional Skills Tutor will book all testing dates.
Delivery of Functional Skills will be through 3 different methods:
- Functional Skills Tutor Support. This will be 1-2-1 support using a mixed approach of face to face and remote support methods
- Online Virtual Classroom Sessions. These will be topic based, half hour learning sessions covering each of the topics listed within the diagnostic assessment. These will be delivered by a core team of virtual classroom tutors.
- Small bite size Self Learning Modules. These modules will be available through the Fuse platform. These will be topic based, 15 minute modules, covering each of the topics that are listed in the diagnostic assessment.
