At Lifetime we work with complex, large organisations and run apprenticeship programmes on a national scale. Our newly created Partnership Engagement Team allows Lifetime to have an enhanced capability to engage on a sizeable, flexible, and agile scale to promote apprenticeships and career opportunities to all employees.

How our Specialist Team Support:

Internally for our employer partners:
  • Develop targeted and employer specific campaigns to promote apprenticeship opportunities to prospective learners
  • Deliver in-depth training to employer managers and stakeholders, aiding retention of apprentices
  • Supporting employers utilise the benefits of Lifetime’s Apprentice Recruitment Team
  • Develop brand specific initiatives to ensure positive learner success rates
  • Utilise feedback to continuously improve engagement strategy and future campaigns
Externally promoting apprenticeships:
  • Engage with young talent at careers shows and events, showcasing the benefit of apprenticeships
  • Promote apprenticeships directly to schools and colleges, highlighting the career opportunities
  • Work closely with Lifetime’s Apprentice Recruitment Team to support social mobility, inclusivity
    and diversity

Introducing the Team

Ben Franklin – Partnership Engagement Manager

Ben has over 10 years’ experience within Work Based Learning and Apprenticeships. For the past five years he has sat within the Accounts Team as a Senior Account Manager and has led on successful partnerships with many key employer partners to run programme launches, national engagement campaigns and early career events.

Ben’s vast experience provides excellent drive and direction to his team of Engagement Leads. Let us introduce the team!

Our Partnership Engagement Leads

Anna Gatehouse

Anna’s been with Lifetime Training for 11 years in a variety of roles from Area Manager, Senior Business Development Manager, National Account Manager and now most recently Partnership Engagement Lead. With over 20 years’ experience within the apprenticeship arena she has a real passion for seeing people develop and grow and thoroughly enjoys promoting the prospects that apprenticeships can bring to individuals and their employers.

Jahmeel Bennett

Having worked at Lifetime Training for five years, Jahmeel started as an Apprentice Recruiter then moved on to Early Careers Engagement Officer and now Engagement Lead. He has a strong background in communications, engagement and recruitment and his specialism is in the hospitality sector. He is passionate about working with school leavers and can bring a lot of experience to this area of apprenticeships.

Emily Bambridge

Emily joined Lifetime Training in 2011 as a Hospitality Trainer, and most recently was an Early Years Engagement Officer until she started as Partnership Engagement Lead. With a background in management, her strengths are in supporting people and overcoming challenges. She really values the apprenticeship scheme and how it benefits both individual apprentices and employers.

Nicole Edmonds

Nicole has worked for Lifetime for three years and her background has been in the retail industry predominantly. After working closely with large businesses with robust apprenticeship programmes, such as Iceland, she is really looking forward to supporting even more learners engage and succeed with apprenticeships.

David Lindsay

David has worked at Lifetime Training for nine years. He started as an apprentice which helped him kickstart his career in this sector, understanding the benefits first-hand. David was a successful Regional Trainer, delivering different qualifications across our client base, before becoming an Engagement Officer and now an Engagement Lead. He has a passion for developing people and helping them to excel.

Patrick (Paddy) Nicolas

Paddy has worked for Lifetime Training for 10 years which has allowed him to build a vast knowledge and understanding about apprenticeships. He has been part of the apprenticeship delivery team for many years, so has had first-hand experience of the positive impact an apprenticeship can have on an individual and the business in which they work. He cannot wait to spark his enthusiasm into others.

Carly Roberts

Carly has worked for Lifetime for five years, firstly as a Regional Trainer, then in client services supporting Early Careers for Greene King. Carly has a hospitality background with roles from team member to general manager before moving into Learning and Development roles. She has a real passion for developing people and helping them to progress within their careers. Carly would describe herself as a real people person and enjoys nothing more than meeting new people and forming new relationships.

Sorcha joined Lifetime Training in January 2020 as an Early Years Engagement officer. She has worked within the apprenticeship industry for six years and is really looking forward to her new role as an Engagement Lead. She is most looking forward to helping others start on their apprenticeship journey and engaging with new clients.

Paul Goddard

Paul has worked in apprenticeships for six years, two within internally quality assurance and three as a Regional Trainer for Lifetime Training in the health and social care sector. Paul recently joined the team as an engagement lead. Having done four apprenticeships himself, Paul is a strong advocate of work-based learning.

Ben Buckland

Ben has worked for Lifetime for over 13 years and has been part of its growth and development ever since. Ben has spent his time as a Regional Trainer, is a huge people person who enjoys seeing the progression and development of learners and the journey they undertake. Ben is looking forward to the challenge that this new role brings and knows he can make a positive impact with our Partners and their teams.
