19+ Advanced Learner Loan
If you are 19 or over, normally resident in England on the first day of your course, and have been living in the UK for at least the last three years, it’s highly likely you will be eligible for financial support to complete our Personal Training Diploma course.
The government-backed Advanced Learner Loan scheme helps you build on your skills and fund the full cost of your Level 3 Personal Training Diploma with a loan of up to £2882. There are no credit checks and applications are not dependent on your household income. Plus you do not have to repay your loan until the April following completion of your learning aim and until you’re earning over £21,000 per year or more. Even if your current earnings are above this threshold, you don’t need to make any repayments until the April following your course.
Am I eligible for the loan?
To be eligible for a Advanced Learner Loan you must be:
- 19 or older on the first day of your course (there’s no upper age limit), starting on or after 1st August 2016.
- Normally resident in England on the first day of your course, and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years preceding the start of your academic year
- Taking a course that’s level three or above
You may also be eligible if you are an EU national member, a refugee, migrant worker or the child of a Swiss or Turkish worker.

Instalments
Lifetime Training offers a 0% in-house finance plan which allows you to pay in instalments for any course or course package over the value of £500.
With a minimum £250 deposit and repayments spread over 3 to 12 months, the credit term will depend on the cost of the course. There is no credit check and approval for the finance option is guaranteed.

Military Resettlement Funding
Lifetime Training offers a range of military and armed forces resettlement courses for current and ex-service personnel to give you all you need to kick-start your career in the fitness industry.
Depending on your length of service, you may be entitled to funding for your course through the Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme (ELCAS), which your dedicated Lifetime Training course advisor can help you with.
Lifetime Training is also a preferred supplier to the Career Transition Partnership (CTP)
