Lifetime Training raises more than £35,000 for charity
Lifetime Training has reached a charity donation milestone! The dedicated fundraising team has raised over £35,000 with £7,000 raised in 2012/2013.
The team has taken part in a number of different campaigns across the business such as the Pennies from Heaven initiative, whereby employees sign up to donate a few pennies each month from their salary and Lifetime commits to matching the funds raised; as well as Movember, and more traditional Dress Down Days.
Harriet Mulvaney, HR Director Lifetime Training, said:
“We’re particularly proud that even in tough economic times when many people are feeling the pinch, our people continue to be so generous and supportive. In fact, we’ve recently been awarded Gold Medal status by Pennies from Heaven for having such a high proportion of the Lifetime Training team signed up to the scheme.”
This year’s monies have been distributed across the company’s designated charities: Cancer Research UK, Help for Heroes, Comic Relief, Macmillan Cancer Support, Caring at Christmas and Rockinghorse. Next year’s charities will be announced shortly.
