Lifetime Training Recognised as a BCS Approved Centre
Lifetime Training’s commitment to delivering high quality IT Apprenticeship training has been recognised with BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, Approved Centre status.
Approved Centre status means Lifetime Training IT Apprenticeship programmes are certified by the BCS, which supports the global IT profession and interests of IT professionals worldwide.
These qualifications are a guarantee of excellence for employers, as they have been developed in consultation with employers to ensure they meet the demands and evolving needs of the IT community. The syllabus closely reflects the requirements of real IT occupations and puts greater emphasis on business meaning employers can be confident that employees know both what they are doing and why.
Learners starting a career in IT by undertaking a BCS certified qualification with Lifetime Training will also receive student member status with BCS, offering them a number of other benefits.
Sean Goodman, Head of Professional Services, at Lifetime Training said:
“With government now putting the pressure on British IT firms to invest in Apprenticeship training, we see BCS accreditation as the first step in creating a robust set of qualifications that deliver for both learners and employers.”
Adam Thilthorpe, Director of Professionalism for BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT adds: “We’re very pleased to be able to accredit Lifetime Training and certify their Apprenticeship programmes. Apprenticeships provide many young people with an insight and route into a career that they may not have otherwise considered.”
