Learner Awards Nominations

Lifetime Training has received over 100 nominations for the Lifetime Learner Achievement Awards 2014, which recognise, reward and celebrate the learning achievements, and resulting career and personal successes, of those who have completed a qualification with Lifetime. They also acknowledge the tutors and regional trainers from Lifetime who helped our learners achieve their goals.

Jade Wilcockson, 24 from Wallsend, North Tyneside works at Action on Hearing Loss as a Support Worker for Deaf People and has just completed her Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.

Jade has been nominated for the Lifetime Learning Achievement Awards 2014, which recognise, reward and celebrate the learning achievements, and resulting career and personal successes, of those who have completed a qualification with Lifetime. They also acknowledge the tutors and regional trainers from Lifetime who helped our learners achieve their goals.

Jade was inspired by her partner's family, the majority of whom are deaf. Jade decided to enter a profession where she could develop her skills and knowledge to help other people that have the same disability as those with which she had become close.

Janet Beeney, Jade’s Regional Trainer at Lifetime Training, commented:
“Jade has worked extremely hard over the past year and has set herself high targets that, invariably, she has met. Jade strives to work independently even though she is aware that support is always available and her work was always completed to a high standard. Jade has been a pleasure to work with – an exemplar apprentice. I am sure that she will succeed in her chosen career path in the care sector.

“Jade has been earmarked for a senior role and she is sure that this opportunity would not have been available to her without the development she has made with Lifetime's support.”

Alex Khan, CEO of Lifetime Training, said:
“The quality of entries has been absolutely astonishing this year. Each and every one of the apprentices nominated deserves to be shortlisted for an achievement award. Thanks also to the team for their fantastic efforts as without them there would be no awards.”

Shortlisted nominees will be informed mid-April and invited to attend a special awards ceremony in London on Wednesday 21st May.
