More Support for Traineeships

A survey conducted by ICM Research has proved that more employers in England are beginning to take responsibility for training the next generation workforce. Traineeships – which blend classroom study and a high-quality work placement help develop work-related knowledge, aptitude and skills – are just one way in which employers can demonstrate their commitment to young people.

Lucy Anderson, Head of Pre-Employment, commented on the findings:

“Our Traineeship programmes are going from strength to strength. Lifetime has supported nearly 300 employers with their Traineeship placements since August 2013 and delivered work experience and training opportunities to over 400 young people aged 16-23. Partners have included Edwardian Group London, Orders of St John Care Trust, and Places for People Leisure.”
