National Minimum Wage Increase 01.10.15

“FROM THURSDAY 1 OCTOBER 2015, THE APPRENTICE NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE WILL RISE BY 57P TO £3.30 PER HOUR”

Some more good news for those considering an apprenticeship, in March, the Government announced that from 1st October 2015, the National Minimum Wage for Apprentices will go up.

Across the board, this is the largest real-terms increase in adult National Minimum Wage since 2008, and represents a 20% increase for apprentices, up 57p to £3.30 an hour.

This is the largest ever increase in the National Minimum Wage for apprentices and will halve the gap with the Minimum Wage for 16 to 17 year olds, which will be £3.87 an hour from October 2015.
