Uncovering Lifetime's Jewels
Lifetime Training has announced that the Lifetime Learner Achievement Awards 2015 are open for nominations.
The Lifetime Learner Achievement Awards recognize, reward and celebrate the learning achievements, and successes, of those who have completed a qualification with Lifetime Training.
They also acknowledge the support provided by employers and tutors and regional trainers from Lifetime Training who have helped our learners achieve their goals.
Once again, the awards include a wonderful finalists' day that starts at London’s Crystal, includes a boat trip on the Thames and culminates with an awards reception at the Tower of London, home of the crown jewels.
The 2014 awards highlighted some fantastic accomplishments, amongst which was Rebecca who bagged the Active Leisure Apprentice of the Year 2014…
Rebecca Maynard, 29, Fitness Instructor Level 2 and Personal Trainer Level 3
Rebecca is a single Mum with three children under the age of 12 and always wanted to give them something to aspire to. As a cleaner, and someone who struggled with dyslexia, she felt worthless. Things changed for Rebecca when she met Sharon Bassindale, a Lifetime Training Regional Trainer, who believed in her.
Rebecca has completed her Fitness Instructor Level 2 and Personal Trainer Level 3 and works as a Fitness Instructor, Class Instructor, and Personal Trainer for industry leader Places for People Leisure (previously DC Leisure).
“I now love my life, my job, and I'm helping people. My kids have someone as a role model and I can be proud of my achievements. It has not been easy and I have had to work hard juggling jobs, kids and courses and meetings, but I have gained so much from this, I just can’t explain. I am buzzing."
Nominations are open now and flooding in fast so watch this space for further updates.
