Lifetime Training Gets the Halo Effect
Lifetime Training is delighted to announce that Social Enterprise Halo Leisure has appointed Lifetime Training to support the delivery of its training and development solutions.
Through this exciting new partnership, Lifetime Training will work with Halo to enhance the excellent staff training already in place through a fully managed workforce development programme.
Central to this new partnership will be a tailored Apprenticeship programme that will be delivered across the Halo portfolio opening up new job and career opportunities for all Halo Leisure staff across its sites in Herefordshire, South Wales and Shropshire.
The contract will see Lifetime Training’s delivery support the career journeys of the full range of staff within the business from entry level Apprenticeships and CPDs through to management training.
Registered charity, Halo Leisure Trust currently manages 18 Leisure Centres and services across Herefordshire and Bridgend County Borough, on behalf of, and in partnership with Herefordshire Council and Bridgend County Borough Council.
Halo is also one of only five social enterprises in the West Midlands to be awarded Flagship status and are holders of the Social Enterprise Mark in recognition of its work to provide affordable and accessible leisure opportunities.
Sara Gosling, Halo’s Director of HR discusses the contract: “We are always looking for new innovative ways to help our local communities to be more physically active. To make this happen we need a skilled and enthusiastic team. This new partnership with Lifetime Training will enhance our current workforce development plans, which will make a huge impact on the quality of our service standards and customer experience. But it is also another way of putting something back into the local communities we work in.”
As with all Lifetime Training clients Halo Leisure will benefit from access to FUSE – an online sharing community – as well as the new information management smartphone app Pulse, Key Account Management and Lifetime’s unique Apprentice Recruitment Service.
