Early Years Agenda: Helping to set the agenda for industry innovation and progressive development
Hosted by Lifetime Training, the free to attend Early Years Agendas were unique events devised as a platform for discussion and networking for managers of Early Years settings. Created to support progression and understanding, it is hoped that these events will ultimately lead to improved performance for the sector.
Held during National Apprenticeship Week 2015, the Early Years Agenda brought together a group of Early Years professionals, each representing a local Nursery. The aim was to create an ‘away from it all’ event that promoted thought leadership, understanding and innovation in the industry.
The Early Years Agendas were a rare opportunity to spend time in a relaxed, informal setting highlighting key industry challenges, exploring how barriers can be broken and focus on creating topics for discussion.
“It’s funny how much you realise you can offer when you get talking to other people. Swapping financial planning, or business strategy ideas to plumbing work, the key is to network. Lunch style networking groups can be very handy for contacts and general business advice.” Kate Peach, managing director Peacharno.
