Celebrities are renowned for leading the way in beauty treatments, from using cortisone shots to kill spots to drips filled with vitamin infusions for anti-ageing and creams laced with Tremella mushroom extract to boost hydration, the list is quite literally endless! Of course Amy Childs need go no further than her own salon for the latest treatment: from The infamous ‘Essex Package’ to ‘Girls on Tour’, no wonder she always looks so fabulous! Whilst Victoria Beckham, who recently launched her own limited edition make-up collection with Estée Lauder, is apparently a huge fan of foil face masks.

But what about us mere mortals? What effective celebrity treatments are available on the high street and in salons which won’t break the bank?

Skin care products are crucial and whilst finding the perfect cleanser and moisturiser for your own skin is essential, celebrity endorsements can provide a useful steer.

Professional beauty brand Dermalogica’s Face Mapping® skin analysis has attracted a legion of celebrity fans to their skin care ranges including Victoria Beckham, whose daily routine apparently includes the Dermal Clay Cleanser, Active Moist, Daily Microfoliant and Multi Active Toner, whilst Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox Arquette, both love the multivitamin power concentrate.

Meanwhile Keira Knightley and Danni Minogue are reportedly fans of the solar defence booster. Its extensive ‘A-list’ of devotees also includes Britney Spears, David Beckham, Jessica Alba, Queen Latifah, Sacha Baron Cohen and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Results driven facials, such as Crystal Clear’s Microdermabrasion, also attract a wide variety of celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Martine McCutcheon and Amy Childs.

Spray tan fans can be guided by devotees including Amy Childs, who created her own range with products such as ‘What’s The Point Tan’ and ‘Oompa Loompa’, and Victoria Beckham, who inadvertently became the ‘face’ of St Tropez in the Nineties. Apparently Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly is also a fan! Meanwhile Su-Do has a fan base including Penelope Cruz and celebrity skaters on Dancing on Ice.
