What apprentices say about us
We don’t just provide our apprentices with outstanding training. We talk to them, and they talk to us. That’s how we know that we’re doing a really great job, but don’t just take our word for it. This is what some of our apprentices had to say about us…
“I didn't know which direction I was going in when I started the Customer Service qualification. I knew it would give me more confidence to deal with different kinds of customers and situations. I decided I wanted to further better myself and began the Team Leader qualification. This has now given me greater knowledge and understanding which I used at my interview for the duty manager role. I have gone from sales assistant to duty manager within one year.” – Victoria, Customer Service Level 2 and Team Leading
“I’m learning a lot and my trainer is really supportive, giving me a lot of confidence. I was really struggling with my reading, but thanks to my LST and my Regional Trainer, I’m getting better all the time. I’ve also been given the job of training new team members since starting my course.” – Amelia, Food & Beverage Service Level 2
“My course is perfect for me, as it’s very hands-on and I learn best with experience. I really enjoy learning new things every day, and also having the opportunity to work with children and families. This apprenticeship has made me a lot more confident and able.” – Elizabeth, Business Administration Level 2
“The courses I have completed with Lifetime have been the first stepping stone to making a real difference to those I work with, to care in the local area, and to the wider health and social care sector. I now have a greater understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion and new ways of working. I certainly wouldn’t have dreamed of looking into working within the NHS or taking on formal qualifications, but you know what? I feel like I can now. And, when I do, I believe I can make improvements to the lives of those I work with there too!” – Joanne, Health & Social Care Level 3
“I’ve had amazing support from my regional trainer, Heather Tatum. She made me feel comfortable and we would chat about other things too, not just about the work, which made it better and put me at ease. My next steps would be to do my level 3 Early Years Educator qualification next year, but eventually I would like to go into nursery management. I will go back to university to get my level 5 one day, that would be my ultimate goal.” – Liam, Early Years Level 2
