What is an Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a work based learning scheme, where you can gain industry recognised qualifications whilst working.
Many young adults and teenagers think that in order to get a decent job, you need to go to university. That isn't true at all! When doing an apprenticeship you can continue to gain qualifications which can accumulate to the equivalent of a degree!
There are many sectors you can work in, from hospitality to care, and you don't need any previous experience!
At Lifetime Training we continue to look after you and train you right up until you pass your chosen qualification. You will have a designated Regional Trainer (RT) who will visit you at work and help you with your qualification.
You'll also study technical skills and carrying out practical assessments all of which your RT will help you with.
It's as simple as that! But before you make the decision, here are just a few facts about Apprenticeships:
- They're free!
- You earn money whilst learning.
- You work alongside experienced staff.
- Gain skills relevant to your job.
- Get industry recognised qualifications that could amount to a degree!
