Apprenticeships: What could you earn?

Many people get torn between going onto uni or leaving school to begin work. However, there is a middle ground, this is called an Apprenticeship!

An apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to learn on the job, and what's more, earn while you learn. This means you earn money whilst you learn the trade you're working in.

Going to university can set you back around £9000 per year. However, an apprenticeship costs you £0! Like we said, you earn money doing an apprenticeship!

But how much could you earn exactly? We've broken down our sectors, done a bit of maths, and have calculated the average weekly wage that you could earn when doing an apprenticeship.

Hospitality weekly average: £168

Health and Social Care weekly average: £225

Early Years weekly average: £160.21

Fitness weekly average: £131.73

Retail weekly average: £180
