Fitness Apprenticeship Success Story: Joe Brewer
Unqualified but keen to enter the fitness industry, Joe began researching courses that might aid his chance of employment. Despite a credible previous work history, the personal financial burden of paying for courses was too much for Joe to be able to pursue his desires.
Disheartened but undeterred Joe researched further, he identified Parkwood Salisbury were seeking an apprentice; an unqualified team member to join the staff base. An entry point to the industry, the club were seeking a customer focused individual with a passion for fitness; Joe shone in his interview and started with the club in December 2016.
Fast Forward to 2018 and Joe is now fully qualified and engaging with clients on a regular basis. Through the programme he has been able to achieve his desire and didn’t burden himself with ‘debt’ in order to qualify. He worked with Parkwood and Lifetime to achieve this goal and now wears his personal trainer top with pride. A testament to his confidence and customer engagement, Joe retailed £2,000 worth of training service to clients on his first month of qualifying.
Nadia Sears, a client of Joe's notes that whilst she does pay extra to engage with his personal training services it is "excellent value for money" and the ‘care and support is first rate".
