Lifetime wins at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference Awards 2019
Lifetime Training has been crowned the Catering & Hospitality Provider of the Year at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference (AAC) Awards 2019, which celebrates the best training providers and employers across the sector.
This is a special award for us as it recognises the dedicated work in the hospitality sector by our team over the last few years.
Alongside the award-winning apprenticeship training provided by Regional Trainers, we are hard at work with industry partners to develop grassroot engagement and tackle issues in the sector. One way we do this is through the quarterly Leaders in Hospitality Summit, in which key partners in the hospitality industry develop and share industry best practice.
Lifetime has also taken a leading role in raising the profile of careers in the hospitality industry alongside key partners; Greene King, Marston’s and Mitchells & Butlers, by creating the Loving Hospitality Working Group. The group has pledged to grow the perception of the hospitality industry into the destination of choice for those wanting to build and develop a career.
CEO Alex Khan said: “To be named Catering & Hospitality Provider of the Year is testament to the incredible work being done in the industry by the Lifetime team and our partners.
“We’re particularly proud of the Loving Hospitality initiative, which brings together three of the largest hospitality operators with a clear goal: to improve and develop the sector and nurture future talent.
“To have top industry brands working together towards a shared goal is an achievement in itself and shows how hard our clients work to make apprenticeships a success.”
The AAC Awards are an annual award celebrating the best training providers and employers in the sector. Sponsored by FE Week and AELP, this is the second year of the awards.
Shane Mann, managing director of FE Week’s publisher Lsect, said: “These awards are a brilliant opportunity to demonstrate and celebrate the importance of apprenticeships in England and the incredible hard work that employers, providers and individuals put into them.
“A huge congratulation to all our winners, who are truly making a difference through their work in apprenticeships.”
