This course is a blend of online and classroom study, designed to fit around your lifestyle and commitments. The course is design in 4 phases which are outlined below.
Phase 1: THE FAMILIARISATION PROGRAMME
You'll start your learning with us instantly with our phase 1 learning programme. We will send this through as soon as you register and you'll soon find yourself immersed in all things strength, power, movement, and coaching. You'll be learning from our world class coaches and tutors who are all in the trenches practising what they preach. You'll finish this phase inspired and ready for phase 2!
Phase 2: THE COACHING IMMERSION CLINIC
Get ready for one of the most impactful, inspiring experiences of your life with our practical coaching immersion clinic. We call it an immersion clinic for a reason...we literally teach and coach you in all aspects of advanced strength and conditioning intensively. We cover everything from olympic weightlifting, speed and plyometric training, mobility and stability training, power, periodisation and much more.
Many of our students report that this immersion experience is truly transformational and leaves them thinking totally differently.... as a coach rather than a trainer. At the end of these empowering days you'll be massively inspired, ready to get coaching and delivering the new content you've learnt, and with a bunch of new colleagues to bounce ideas off. You'll also be ready for a couple of days recovery too!
Phase 3: THE INTENSIFICATION PHASE
This is where things really start to come together for you. Firstly, we give you everything you need to practise and improve your own competence on the olympic lifts, speed and agility and your coaching in general. You'll have a programme to follow meaning you literally cannot go wrong at any point.
Phase 4: THE REALISATION PHASE
The final step for you to become a qualified SCE Level 4 coach is to take your final practical olympic weightlifting, speed and movement assessment. Through the support you'll receive in phase 3 you'll be more than prepared for this and we expect you to pass with flying colours.
Then it's on to truly realising your goals. Whether it's working with athletes, building your client base or getting that gym you've always wanted opened, the choice is yours and you'll be absolutely prepared for it.
You'll also be ready to graduate onto one of our higher level programmes and perhaps even become a master coach.

MODULE 1 : 21st Century Coaching
You’ll learn cutting edge tools and techniques that will allow you to charge higher fees and get far greater results than ever before.
MODULE 2 : The Needs Analysis
We teach you how to perform detailed functional assessments, movement testing, performance testing and how to analyse sporting performance to allow you to programme in the best possible way.
MODULE 3 : The Coaching Relationship
We are performance coaches therefore it’s critical that we are able to challenge our athletes and clients in the most efficient and effective ways.
MODULE 4 : Periodisation Essentials
Before you design any programme a detailed understanding of periodisation is essential.
MODULE 5 : Designing macro, meso and micro cycles
This module builds on the periodisation essentials with advanced information on the three major training cycles.
MODULE 6 : Building the performance programme
Once you have the knowledge it’s time to apply it. This module teaches you exactly how to design effective and productive programmes.
MODULE 7 : Designing resistance training programmes
This is an advanced module we recently added with even more detail on how to build strength, power, hypertrophy and sports specific movement.
MODULE 8 : Advanced strength and power programmes
Only the most advanced coaches and athletes will ever get to this level, that’s why we included this in the Level 4.
MODULE 9 : Speed and agility programming
It’s vital that modern day coaches are highly efficient at developing speed and agility in their clients and athletes. We take you through all the steps here.
MODULE 10 : Plyometric training and programming
Most coaches and trainers do not utilise plyometrics effectively with their clients. As an advanced training tool we must have this competence.
MODULE 11 : Resistance training progressions
Learn how to programme for everyone from children right through to Olympians and everyone in between in this module.
MODULE 12 : Advanced programme design
This content will allow you to work with professional teams and governing bodies.
MODULE 13 : Endurance training programme design and energy system training
It’s no good just being capable in the gym we must be able to get people fit for their sport or activity too.
MODULE 14 : Transfer of training
How does the work we do in the gym transfer to the field of play? You’ll learn that and more in this module.
MODULE 15 : Mobility and stability training
You can’t fire a canon from a canoe! We teach you how to develop athletic mobility along with functional stiffness in this module.
MODULE 16 : Core training considerations
Building on the previous module you’ll learn cutting edge research based training methods on developing core stability in this module.
MODULE 17 : Psychology for sports performance
Elite coaches connect on an emotional level with their clients. This module teaches you how to work at a higher level.
MODULE 18 : Designing injury reduction programs
It’s no good getting people fit and strong if they still break down. In this module you’ll learn how to design effective injury reduction programmes and apply them with your clients
MODULE 19 : Nutrition for sport performance
Nutrition is so important and in this module we take you through the critical information on fueling performance.
MODULE 20 : Long term athlete development
You’ll be able to get results year after year after watching this module.
MODULE 21 : Recovery and regeneration
Building on the nutrition module we outline the key recovery strategies to compliment your training and coaching.

A summary of the underpinning physiology, biomechanics and terminology meaning your understanding will be at a master coach level.
