We provide community clubs and schools with experienced, dedicated and professional coaching/teaching personnel with the skills and expertise to deliver quality sports coaching at all levels, from pre-school, primary school to Secondary School and university.
We believe that a high quality of sports coaching delivery is essential to ensure both the growth and sustainability of any sport whilst keeping participant/pupils engaged and developing. Whether delivering in Primary or Secondary schools we always ensure that all sessions are comprehensively planned, based on participants abilities and that their development is measurable and reportable.

At White Rose Rugby you will work towards your L2 Community Activator Coach Apprenticeship Qualification over the course of 12-18 Months.

The role will consist of support and delivery of a variety of sports and leadership courses across all areas of education including Primary, Secondary, College and Clubs.

You will be on a Community Activator Coach apprenticeship, which allows you to get a qualification and get paid to do it! Your qualification will be delivered by Lifetime Training, but you will be part of the Coach Core family- giving you access to loads of extra perks, including kit, training from partners such as UK Coaching and the chance to coach at local/regional sporting events

Within the role as highlighted above the successful candidate will support our team with planning and delivery of practical sessions, completion of key reporting documentation, this will be alongside the WRR team.

Successful applicants will be assisting and delivering sport and physical activity sessions in the community and making a real difference to the young people you will coach. Personal qualities




You must be enthusiastic about wanting to work within the sport and physical activity sector and be committed to inspiring others to be more physically active.

No prior coaching experience is required, but a willingness to learn, work hard and challenge yourself is essential.

Qualifications required

No Previous Qualifications Required, All Training Will Be Provided.

Future prospects

At White Rose the end goal upon your completion of the apprenticeship is to be able to offer you a full time job as one of our enthusiastic community coaches working in a wide variety of educational and sporting settings with a role that includes sports specific coaching, leadership programme coaching and teacher CPD leads.
