This adult care qualification is designed to be flexible so you can fit learning around your work schedule and life.
You can choose what and when you learn through our 'MyLifetime' online learning site, and blend this as much or as little support as you need including workplace observations and visits from your expert Lifetime trainer.
Online
Online learning will be completed through the MyLifetime online learning community, where you can access your workbooks and online resources. MyLifetime also provides instant access to expert tutors and allows you to interact with other learners. To support your journey, there are a range of materials available, including; videos, webinars, podcasts and other dynamic learning resources.
Online Support
Online support will be provided via our MyLifetime online learning community. Here you will have access to your assessment workbooks, can ask expert tutors questions and interact with other learners. There is also a range of engaging learning materials that have been designed to support your learning journey, with fresh content uploaded regularly.
Regional Trainer Work-Based Support
You will have face-to-face visits from your trainer at key points throughout your course to keep you motivated and supported. Our formal and informal 1-2-1 sessions via phone or Skype will coach you to success.
Alongside this you will have access to friendly help and assistance through our learner helpline so you can get answers quickly if your tutor isn’t available.

It identifies different types of abuse and the signs and symptoms that might indicate abuse is occurring. It considers when individuals might be particularly vulnerable to abuse and what a learner must do if abuse is suspected or alleged. The role of the health and social care workerThis unit outlines the knowledge and skills required to understand the nature of working relationships, working in ways that are agreed with the employer and working in partnership with others. Promote person centred approachesThis unit provides the learner with the knowledge and skills required to implement and promote person centred approaches.
